SOESCO transaction is being fully supported by Sojitz professionals with extensive M&A experience. In particular, members of the New York–based Sojitz Corporation of America ("SCA") team are playing a central role in driving the transaction to success.
President & CEO:
Chip Brown
Chip oversees SOESCO’s investment activities across the U.S. infrastructure sector and serves as a board member of SOESCO portfolio companies.
He previously served as President and CEO of McClure Company from 2001 to 2023, where he led the firm’s growth into one of Pennsylvania’s leading mechanical engineering and contracting companies. He joined McClure in 1984 and held several leadership roles during his tenure. For several years, he also served as President of McCarl’s, Inc., an industrial contractor headquartered in Pittsburgh.
Leveraging decades of experience leading mechanical contracting businesses, he provides strategic guidance on acquisitions, business succession, and post-acquisition integration across the SOESCO platform.

Masaki Ikegawa (Masa)
Masa joined Sojitz in 2016 and leads energy and infrastructure investments aimed at long-term growth and lasting partnerships.
With over ten years of industry expertise, he has managed asset and company operations across the sector—including gas-fired power plants and solar portfolios in the Northeast—and played a central role in a successful divestiture. He has also driven post-merger integration across the SOESCO platform, most notably with McClure Company and Freestate Electric. He is now focused on expanding the platform nationwide, centered on people-driven investments in engineering and skilled-labor talent.

Joshua Lozano
Joshua manages M&A and business development initiatives for Sojitz Energy Services (SOESCO), supporting the expansion of the platform through strategic acquisitions and partnerships.
He joined Sojitz in 2017 and has over 18 years of professional experience. He has been involved in the origination, evaluation, and execution of investments across the construction, energy services, and infrastructure sectors. His transaction experience includes the acquisitions of McClure Company and Freestate Electric, leading the divestment process for solar power portfolios, and supporting multiple roll-up acquisitions across the SOESCO platform.
