SOESCO transaction is being fully supported by Sojitz professionals with extensive M&A experience. In particular, members of the New York–based Sojitz Corporation of America ("SCA") team are playing a central role in driving the transaction to success.
President & CEO:
Chip Brown
Chip oversees SOESCO’s investment activities across the U.S. infrastructure sector and serves as a board member of SOESCO portfolio companies.
He previously served as President and CEO of McClure Company from 2001 to 2023, where he led the firm’s growth into one of Pennsylvania’s leading mechanical engineering and contracting companies. He joined McClure in 1984 and held several leadership roles during his tenure. For several years, he also served as President of McCarl’s, Inc., an industrial contractor headquartered in Pittsburgh.
Leveraging decades of experience leading mechanical contracting businesses, he provides strategic guidance on acquisitions, business succession, and post-acquisition integration across the SOESCO platform.

Naohiro Ito
Naohiro has over 15 years of experience developing and investing in large-scale infrastructure and energy projects globally. He joined Sojitz in 2010 and has led numerous investment and M&A transactions across the U.S., Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
He led Sojitz’s acquisition of a U.S.-based electrical contractor and played a key role in the development and acquisition of major power infrastructure projects, including a 1.7GW integrated LNG-to-power project and a 1.6GW power and water desalination project supported by more than $1 billion in project financing.

Joshua Lozano
Joshua manages M&A and business development initiatives for Sojitz Energy Services (SOESCO), supporting the expansion of the platform through strategic acquisitions and partnerships.
He joined Sojitz in 2017 and has over 18 years of professional experience. He has been involved in the origination, evaluation, and execution of investments across the construction, energy services, and infrastructure sectors. His transaction experience includes the acquisitions of McClure Company and Freestate Electric, leading the divestment process of a solar power portfolios, and supporting multiple roll-up acquisitions across the SOESCO platform.
